Will the Seizmik Rapid Fire CDI system work on my Rhino 440?

The Seizmik Rapid-Fire CDI system will work with Yamaha Rhino 660s and 440s but the performance gains with the 440 are not as great as the 660.

 

Why is there a gap at the top of my Rhino doors?

If you refer to your installation manual page 16, there are instructions on how to correct this. Sometimes a gap will be present at the top of the doors due to the several factors such as roll cage inconsistency, rollcage damage, or bending due to rough shipping. However, there is an easy fix:

1. Open your Rhino door a little bit and press firmly on the upper section right at the top while simultaneously pulling out on the lower section.

2. Only bend the door upper in small increments so you don't over-bend it

3. Keep bending it a little and then shut the door until it fits flush to the rollcage

 

The hinges on my Rhino doors bend easily, can I get them in steel?

The hinges were intentionally designed to be a failure point. If a steel hinge was used, it is very likely that the hinge pin or main hinge mounting plate would be damaged in an impact or accident. If either of these were to be damaged, the entire door would have to be replaced instead of an inexpensive hinge plate.

 

Can the light bar be installed on a Rhino that already has a hardtop?

In most cases it will not work with a hard-top. If ithe top hangs over the front of the roll cage very much then it is likely that the hardtop would interfere with the light bar.

Will the Seizmik Exo-cage doors fit on my 2008 Rhino?

Yes. The only issue is that the holes for the hinge plates just happen to line up with the mounting holes for the OEM plastic doors. All you have to do is simply drill a couple new holes in the hinge plate in between the existing holes. Make sure you do this before drilling into the roll cage tube so you get a good alignment. Will your listed "Rapid Fire" CDI - # 03038 WORK ON A 2008 700 Rhino?

The Seizmik Rapid Fire CDI will not work on any EFI vehicle.  The CDI will only work on the Rhino 660 since it is carbureted. It will also work on Rhino 440s but the performance gains with the 440 are not as great.

 

Will your Rapid Fire Advanced CDI work on the 700 Rhino? If not, do you have one that will?

The Seizmik Rapid Fire CDI WILL fit 440 & 660 Rhinos.  Performance gains will be greater on the 660 than the 440 though.  The Seizmik Rapid Fire CDI System will not fit Rhino 700’s. We do not have one currently available that will fit  the 700 Rhino. Check the website periodically for when we release one.

Will the RZR Rear Rack Fit both the RZR and the RZR-S?

No, the Seizmik Rear Rack system will only fit the RZR.  It will not fit the RZR-S.

Will the Seizmik hood rack work with my Ranger windshield?

Seizmik basic hood racks will not work with the Polaris "lock-and-ride" windshield. The Seizmik Hood Rack uses mounts that attach to the rollcage. This area is not accessible when the "lock-and-ride" windshield is installed. One solution is to choose the Seizmik Advanced Ranger Hoodrack. This hood rack cantilevers off the bumper and does not interfere with the windshield in any way.

 

Will the Seizmik lightbar work with my Ranger roof?

Seizmik's light bar for the Ranger will not work with the Polaris "lock-and-ride" roof system. The Seizmik light bars mount to the sides of the rollcage. This area is not accessible when the "lock-and-ride" roof system is installed.

Will your soft top and doors fit a 2001 Ranger 500 6x6?

No, the roll cage is an earlier design and our soft roof and doors were designed for model years 2002 and later.

 

Will your current Ranger Accessories fit the 09' Ranger?

Does the Seizmik windshield block my Mule hood compartment?

No. The Seizmik Mule windshield system utilizes a unique pivot and lock hinge system that will support the windshield when it is open so that you can access the compartment under the hood. The operator releases the lower clamps and pulls the windshield up and out to lock it in place. To close it, simply reverse the opening procedure.
